This book is an excellent addition to the regular shop
manuals
Servicing the Corvette has presented automotive servicemen
with problems that are not encountered in working on other types of vehicles.The
various components, standard and optional, are in many cases completely
new designs, and in other instances revisions of equipment used on other
Chevrolet vehicles.
The book is made in two sections. The first section covers
the operations involved in tuning the various Corvette Engines.
The second section is devoted to the Regular Production
Options available on the Corvette. Many of these options are serviced in
a manner very similar to passenger car equipment. On these options, the
service procedures are not covered in detail. Other options, such as Four-Speed
Transmission, Fuel Injection and Positraction Rear Axle, are covered in
their entirety.
This book covers Corvette models from 1956 to 1960. |
