This 6000+ page manual is the original manual used by Ford
technicians in the 60's and 70's to identify the correct service part for

This is not the same as a "Shop Manual". A shop
manual is very useful, but simply does not provide the details necessary

of general illustrations (most may not even be for your model car). On the

old, numerous parts have been replaced simply with parts that "fit"
and not necessarily the "correct" part. For example, C5ZZ-1007-A
is correct for a 65 Mustang made before 2/1/65 and part C5ZZ-1007-B is correct
after that date. It is subtle but correct. That is just one reason why this
manual is extremely valuable. By knowing in advance the correct part number
your restoration, you avoid wasting money on incorrect parts that might
(or might not) fit and you will know that it was restored the way Ford built
it.
